So I don’t know if this is considered a country song. I’m not really into country honestly, but I LOVE this song. I’m one of those people that a lot of the times listens to music for the lyrics. Nerdy yeah, but I like when music actually like “touches” me. The Climb was most definitely one of those songs. When I heard it I was actually having some issues and for some reason like when she’s talking about “there’s always gonna’ be another mountain, I’m always gonna’ wanna make it move, always gonna’ be an uphill battle, sometimes I’m gonna’ have to lose…” I don’t know they made me feel a little better. Instead of getting so bothered by things ya know to just realize that oh well! learn from it, get through it.. life is so far from perfect. I’m learning to just like not expect things to ever really go right. I’m not being negative. It actually helps to think this way hahaha. For me anyway. I kept waiting for it to turn around and I have just come to terms that this is the way life is! It’s random and sometimes its good and sometimes it’s bad. I think the frustrating times build a lot of character and teach you valuable lessons. I know I’m learning a lot even though the frustrations of life are constantly on my door step. So yeah see what I get out of simple song lyrics?! hahaha Miley Cyrus did great on that song and it is my favorite right now. Another little set of lyrics that are good is “Don’t give up, it’s just the weight of the world…” those were by Josh Groban and ya know, I may just be weird, but when things come a long thinking about these brief quotations from touching songs really helps. It’s like a little encouragement. I have ALWAYS loved quotes and make a point to write the good ones down or burn some into my memory. Song lyrics stick a lot easier because they’re put to music obviously but yeah… just my little random thoughts for the day. I have some things to do! UGH I get frustrated because I have had like so many ideas this week, but I have NO supplies! So I’m chomping at the bit to get to my parents house and raid my mom’s stuff! Anyway happy Wednesday my friends- don’t forget your umbrellas! It’s pretty rainy here!

P.S. I have listened to the Britney Spears Circus song about 8 times… it grows on ya!!!! Anyway, I have sketching to do and some self discovery, it’s a full day. hahaha xoxo

I am getting pretty frustrated. I can’t remember the last time I got a great night’s sleep. Like I sleep and stuff but it’s never that “oh my gosh I just don’t want to get up” sleep. I just want to wake up with no sore muscles from this stupid bed. ARG! I don’t have a good bed- that’s all I’ll say on that note. I am though trying to talk mymom and dad into giving me my old bed. haha Zach is going to school and so we would like to snag my old mattress. We’ll see! Those things are so expensive and I just spent a fortune on the car rental and car repair. Blah. Life is too $$$.

I haven’t gotten a new purse in literally about 3 years! I found this one here below though at Urban Outfitters and I am definitely wanting to purchase it. I like the size and the style is fun too. So it’s an option- the only option. I am really picky when it comes to purses. I have my little mustard yellow, leather, BCBG one and it’s my favorite, but it is time for an upgrade.

This wallet is also quite cute.

All of this is from Urban Outfitters. They have a couple good things right now! It’s pretty cool~

I have my car back, the sun is shining, my house is almost spotless… It’s a GREAT start to what will be a GREAT week! My car looks so good. We got the hole in it like 2 months after we got it… in 2007.. so it’s been there a while and so to see my little japanese princess without the hole, is weird andI am soooo happy! They also cleaned my floor mats! Everything is clean and shining and I am just so happy.

This style is totally what I love.

I love these shirts- I have a dress that is slightly similar, and it’s my favorite. Work out a little more and I would stream confidence from these. hahaha Speaking of working out- I am loving it! I feel so much better about myself. Today I kind of didn’t do so well in the diet department, I took a break and had some reeces peanut butter cups. I had to, it was just something that needed to be done. Anyway- I’m hanging out with my hubs! Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

I LOVE them… more than you know.
Eater is quickly approaching. Apparently.. I’m holiday-ed out gosh. They come so fast I can’t seem to keep track! AHH! Anyway though, I did see in a Martha Stewart magazine that she dyed eggs this really great yellow and I wish I had a reason to do it too, but that is a HUGE waste of eggs on my part, because I’m not a huge fan. They look beautiful though.

See the rich yellow one? That is the color she used and they were amazing!

Love the blues. It’s pretty~

I was at Target the other day and I saw this chocolate bunny that was in a box designed exactly like the Beatrix Potter books and the bunny was chocolate with a blue jacket, it was great. I love the peter rabbit graphics and even though the little bunny itself didn’t have much detail, the blue jacket was all it needed… and the box of course. ) So Danny might get a little easter something. hehehe We’ll see! I am going to make sugar cookies in the shapes of eggs. Probably next weekend. It’s easier to do them at my mom’s house because she has a big kitchen and of course, all the supplies. Makes life a little easier! Well my friends, I will probably be back writing again in a little bit, but for now- I’m out! Have a happy Saturday!

Yellow is best

Adding to the list! I am going to paint a wall in my living room a rich yellow *if it looks right against my carpet* naturally that color would rock against a nice dark wood floor, but I don’t have that right now. hahaha So basically as long as the yellow matches my carpet we’ll do that. It’s like a rich, retro yellow. I also want to get these letters from Anthropologie and they’ll say “Mr. and Mrs”. This is kind of the color yellow I am thinking about. I always call it Anthro yellow because Anthropologie uses this color often and my favorite purse is this color… along with pillow… and this vintage piece of ribbon I have. So it’s my favorite color.

So those are the shades I am leaning for. Yeah, retro. I am very drawn to retro. Some of the ugliest colors, I love…. even though I think they are ugly. haha We’ll see what this color looks like and I’ll keep you updated on that whole idea.

Also, I am looking for two bigger pillows for my bed and I was at TJmaxx yesterday and found a couple that have a brown, retro pattern on them! So I’m thinking about those. I have to buy two new pillow cases- I will never get white again, not for pillows that actually get slept on because they don’t stay white forever and they just look like dirty or something but they don’t come clean. Ya know how white shirts get the yellow stain under the arm from the dryer burning the deodorant? Yeah, they have this burned-ish look. Like they’re not super white anymore is basically what I’m saying. hahaha So I am looking for a couple new pillow cases. I would like black and white polkadot, because I have two of those and I LOVE them… so we’ll be looking. I’m just focusing on making my home look as homey as I can. I am also wanting to do it in a very affordable way. Minus the couch- I’ll probably have to part with some money on that one, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. My couch works fine for now. It’s a dark brown leather. Contemporary, but uncomfortable haha. Free though so that works! *thank you mom and dad* Anyway I have to run- literally… have a good day guys.
